Sharing Our Cultural Heritage: Coesfeld, Örnsköldsvik and Huelva
During this school year, we are working on a very interesting project based on Cultural Heritage, as this is the suggested topic by UNESCO for this course, 2017-2018. This is the project:

In this project, our students, from Huelva (Spain), Coesfeld (Germany) and Örnsköldsvik (Sweden), are going to share their cultural heritage. Following the topic given by UNESCO for this school year on European Heritage / Patrimonio Europeo, we would like pupils to have the chance to share the heritage of their cities (Örnsköldsvik,Coesfeld and Huelva) and get closer in this way to Swedish, Geman and Spanish cultures respectively. This Project will also foster our students' communicative competence in English and Spanish.

FIRST TERM : OUR FOOD HERITAGE
SECOND TERM: OUR CULTURAL HERITAGE
THIRD TERM: OUR NATURAL HERITAGE

Students from Sweden, Germany and Spain have uploaded videos and photos in their twinspace based on their cultural heritage. They have also worked specially on Christmas food due to the proximity of this international festivity.

etwinning 2015-2016
Within the bilingual programme, we have been working with other countries in e-twinning projects.

- One of our projects, during the course 2015-2016, was entitled "Enlighten German and Spanish Cultures", and we managed to work together with a high-school in Germany on the differences between "LIGHT" as such in both countries. It was a really interesting project that allowed our students to discover how important and different light may be in both cultures and how it affects timetable, food, customs...

In the e-twinning space, students share photos, notes and ideas about this topic. Besides, they were lucky to travel to Germany to be aware of all these details they had just seen in their German pals' photos.

The study of light in both cities, Huelva and Coesfeld, was integrated in our highschool project on Light, as part of the UNESCO proposal of that course study.

Enlighten German and Spanish cultures

What does light mean in German and Spanish cultures? Christmas and light. Easter and light. How can we save light and help our environment?
